Abstract

N-(4-{1-[3-(4-tert-butylphenyl)ureido]-1-methylethyl}phenyl)methanesulfonamide (6) was designed, synthesized and evaluated as a vanilloid receptor antagonist. Compound 6 showed the moderate antagonist activity with IC50 value of 2.5 μM.
